Together, we build the autonomy of immigrant women.

We are a collective of immigrant women in Ottawa-Gatineau. Because we have lived through arrival and integration ourselves, today we support other women toward wellbeing, financial stability and professional fulfillment.

Our support

Three pillars to move forward

Every woman moves at her own pace. Our work is built around three complementary levers, designed to support the whole person.

Wellbeing

A space to breathe, take care of yourself and build connections. We offer a listening ear, sharing circles and resources to navigate the challenges of arrival with calm and confidence.

In their words

Journeys that inspire us

Illustration accompanying Stell’s story.

Some kinds of support inform you; others transform you. For me, AFII did both. When I arrived in Canada, I thought integrating came down to finding a job. I discovered far more: a true family, a community of inspiring women that helped me find my place. That is the moment my integration truly began.
